Book by Mariana Elder. Music by Chris Miller. Lyrics by Nathan Tysen

Set in 1962 rural West Virginia, the musical centers around a group of young people whose fathers were killed in a mining accident ten years earlier. Now, this eclectic band of friends embark on a life-altering journey to the coalmine that took their father’s life. With its soaring bluegrass and pop-inspired score, this inspirational new musical finds both the streaks of light and the heart of darkness within us all. Directed by Jessica Hixson and Sarah Wilsford.
